Tommie Boooker started singing at the age of nine years old. He joined his church choir at the age of eleven and went on to play the saxophone and clarinet in high school. His smooth voice has been compared to the likes of legendary artists Luther Vandross and the unforgettable Marvin Gaye.

Before signing to Hittin Lick Records in 2002, Tommie was working with greats such as Michael Pow, Keith Washington and World One Records, where he wrote and recorded several records.

After Tommie was diagnosed with leukemia, people expected him to give up on his dreams of a singing career but, he never stopped despite the painful days. His voice and energy level on stage is unmatched inspite of medical treatments he had to endure.

Tommie Booker will be missed but never forgotten!
